HVAC Service Technician
Thrasher Plumbing & Heating is looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Plainville, MA full time. We provide high-quality residential and commercial solutions and need a dependable professional to service, diagnose, and repair heating and cooling systems.
Job Details
Pay: $35-$50 per hour
Job Description: Troubleshoot and fix issues with residential and commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and air conditioners. Conduct routine safety inspections and seasonal tune-ups to ensure maximum equipment efficiency. Explain technical issues clearly to clients and recommend repair or replacement options. Maintain accurate electronic records of service calls, parts used, and system readings. Follow all industry safety standards and local building codes on every job site.
What We Look For
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and service experience.
- Valid EPA Universal Certification required. Massachusetts refrigeration or oil burner license is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, gas piping, and refrigerant charging.
- A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license to operate company service vehicles.
- Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a professional customer-first attitude.
